My Guy! Stan is In The Kitchen’s Sous Chef for Livestream Cooking Sessions.
When he’s not cooking alongside Regina, Stan is an Administrator for a healthcare organization and also a Project Manager for a Nevada based design and management firm.

He makes me laugh, he’s my make-up artist, he drives me all over town and out of town. He’s the cameraman and technical support. On my clinic days, he’s my back rubber, my sitter through infusions, my tear-wiper, prayer warrior, head annointer, and battle-ready soldier. Thirty-six+ years and I love you dearly.

Lia Turcotte is originally from Seattle, Washington and attended the Seattle Culinary Academy and Le Cordon Bleu for her training. She started her career alongside her father in their family's Greek bakery and later as the pastry chef for restaurants, wedding cake, chocolatier and pâtisserie shops in Ottawa, Canada.

I met Lia in 1995-ish at Seattle Culinary Academy. We sat next to one another, I believe in the front row. Two years later we both graduated. As time moved on, so did we. Establishing careers, families, homes and experiences. Many years later Lia reached out to me via IG. What a surprisingly awesome reconnect.

Lia is a friend, colleague, a calming voice, a gentle spirit, she’s been my go-to for all things baking and my sounding board when I need to make sense of things. Thank you Chef Lia, xo.

"MY RESILIENCY IS THE ABILITY TOconvert something that has been handed to me and make it beautiful again."

"Chef Regina Mitchell’s Zoom cooking class begins like a lot of Zooms: friendly banter, reminders to mute here, some technical adjustments there. A few minutes after the 4:30 p.m. start time, there are about 20 people on the call. The menu for tonight: a vegetable stir-fry and a lemongrass-ginger soda."

"Regina Mitchell, 60, Las Vegas, was on a fast track in her chosen career in the culinary world. A classically trained chef, she traveled worldwide working alongside such notable chefs as Emeril Lagasse and Julia Child. Later providing team-building culinary experiences for Fortune 500 companies as a corporate executive chef and eventually landing a top position in Las Vegas with MGM Properties providing personalized-services to elite hotel guests."

"Breathtaking is the word that comes to mind when I think of today’s Woman On The Move Regina Mitchell. Regina is breathtaking not only physically but also in her beautiful demeanor. Hearing her sight loss story for the first time and the grueling monthly treatments she endures to retain her residual sight is heartwrenching. Yet, in spite of her sight loss, her treatments, and daily reminders that her eyes lie to her she persists with grace."
