Regina Mitchell

"Chef Regina Mitchell’s Zoom cooking class begins like a lot of Zooms: friendly banter, reminders to mute here, some technical adjustments there. A few minutes after the 4:30 p.m. start time, there are about 20 people on the call. The menu for tonight: a vegetable stir-fry and a lemongrass-ginger soda."

"Regina Mitchell, 60, Las Vegas, was on a fast track in her chosen career in the culinary world. A classically trained chef, she traveled worldwide working alongside such notable chefs as Emeril Lagasse and Julia Child. Later providing team-building culinary experiences for Fortune 500 companies as a corporate executive chef and eventually landing a top position in Las Vegas with MGM Properties providing personalized-services to elite hotel guests."

"Breathtaking is the word that comes to mind when I think of today’s Woman On The Move Regina Mitchell. Regina is breathtaking not only physically but also in her beautiful demeanor. Hearing her sight loss story for the first time and the grueling monthly treatments she endures to retain her residual sight is heartwrenching. Yet, in spite of her sight loss, her treatments, and daily reminders that her eyes lie to her she persists with grace."
